Philadelphia, PA, USA - WYBE 35 http://www.wybe.org/ has decided to have a Doctor Who marathon on May 12 as part of a Spring pledge drive. The marathon will run from 7:45PM to Midnight. It will include Making Of A Scene (a documentary about the making of Silver Nemesis), all 3 episodes of Silver Nemesis, and episodes 3+4 of Mawdryn Undead. The 5:30PM rerun on that day will be pre-empted to allow for other pledge specials. Doctor Who will be pre- empted on May 19 for a Lenny Henry marathon, and on May 26 for a Ballykissangel marathon. Also, WYBE quietly moved its Monday 4AM rerun of Doctor Who to Saturdays at 4AM within the last few weeks. Their website does not yet reflect this change. |

San Jose, CA, USA - KTEH 54 http://www.kteh.org/ will have a Doctor Who Night on Sunday June 10. The marathon will run from 7PM to 1AM. KTEH's press release: Doctor Who - A Celebration: 20 Years of Time Travel on KTEH Be part of broadcasting history, as KTEH celebrates its 20th consecutive year of broadcasting Doctor Who with a viewer's choice marathon on Sunday, June 10, 2001 at 7 pm. You and other Doctor Who fans will have an opportunity to choose one half-hour episode from each of the seven Doctors, the result of which will be announced as part of our June 10 marathon on KTEH. Select one individual episode from each of the following seven Doctor Who's, or - if you can't pick an individual episode - pick a story and votes tallied in favor of the story will lead to the selection of the most favored episode of that story. New Zealand - Prime TV pre-empted Doctor Who on Sunday 29 April to make room for a soccer game, shifting the episodes back one day from what was listed in last week's edition. |

Canada - As noted last week, SPACE: The Imagination Station http://www.spacecast.com/ will air the second Peter Cushing movie (Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.) on Sunday May 6 at 2PM Eastern Time (11AM Pacific). Canadians who have lacked any Doctor Who on your TV screens, mark your calendars. |

He wants to kill everyone, come to think of it. He wants to rule the living, but all he does is kill. Wed-Fri 11:30PM AEST The Pirate Planet eps 1 - 3 of 4 The Doctor and Romana have a problem. The 2nd segment of the Key To Time is on the planet Calufrax. They have gone to the location of Calufrax. But Calufrax is missing, replaced by another planet. And the tracer for the Key claims the segment is everywhere. Either the tracer needs new batteries, so something very nasty has happened. This is the first Doctor Who story that a then-unknown named Douglas Adams worked on. |

Now they are the last hope to save humanity from the Daleks. This was the second of two movie remakes of Dalek stories, and better than the first movie. |
